Snug Privacy Policy

Introduction
Snug is a puzzle game that needs no account and no sign-in.
Everything you do in it is kept on your own device.
This policy explains what the app handles, and what it does not.
1. What is stored on your device
The app saves the following inside your device (in its Application Support area):
- Stage progress, move records and day streaks
- The stamps you have collected
- Sound and haptics settings, and the rug pattern
- Your year of birth
None of this is sent to the developer's servers.
Deleting the app deletes it.
Restoring your device from an iCloud or computer backup restores these records.
There is, however, no syncing between devices.
About the year of birth
The app asks for your year of birth once, at first launch.
It is used only to decide how ads are shown (see section 2).
The answer stays on your device and is not transmitted.
2. Advertising
The app shows third-party advertising through Google AdMob.
To serve those ads, Google may process device identifiers and advertising-related information.
In this app:
- App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission is never requested.
The advertising identifier (IDFA) is therefore not read
- Ads are not personalised (they are served as non-personalised ads)
- Where required — the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and elsewhere —
a consent screen (Google UMP) is shown at first launch
- No ads are shown to anyone who states they are under 13

3. What is never collected
The app does not collect any of the following:
name, email address, phone number, postal address, location, contacts, photos,
calendar, health data, purchase history or browsing history.
No analytics tools are used.
The developer never receives information that identifies an individual user.
4. Children
The app shows no advertising to anyone who states they are under 13.
It is not distributed in the App Store Kids Category.
5. Your data, your device
The data lives on your device and is under your control.
To erase it, delete the app.
Because the developer holds no copy, there is nothing for us to disclose,
correct or delete on request.
6. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above is revised.
Significant changes are also noted in the app's release notes.
